IRL (IN REAL LIFE)
IRL is a social media ad campaign that relies on user interaction. In a world of online dating, IRL challenges the public to discuss this new and sometimes awkward topic. I reached out to the public both traditionally and virtually. My posters demanded pen on paper while my facebook, twitter, and youtube allowed comments, likes, and shares. I had a conversation chair built and tested how people would interact when directly confronted. The chair was built just a little too tight forcing the slightest physical connection and the facing chair challenge eye contact.
Components included posters, 2 spots, website, and live social media. The project revolved around apps and online dating so the design followed suit. I used friendly looking type and flat color.
